Lose the Tattoos is a non profit 501 (c) 3 foundation which raises funds to provide free gang tattoo removal laser services to “at risk” youth in exchange for community service. The foundation has two programs.
1.) Lose the Tattoos is a community based program that provides the laser procedure to remove unwanted negative gang related tattoos from kids wanting to change the direction of their lives. This program works hand-in-hand with community agencies providing support to these young people. 20-40 hours of community service s required prior to initiating tattoo removal treatments.
2.) Wisconsin Tattoo Removal Program also has a contract agency to provide laser tattoo removal to juvenile offenders within the penal system.
This program is a mobile laser program staffed with volunteer physicians that remove tattoos by laser procedures. This program integrates with local community service projects which assign community service in exchange for tattoo removal. We need your help! In expanding this program throughout the state of Wisconsin. Our goal is to treat 200 youth this year in Milwaukee area.
